Around the World with 80 Artists ebook
Hello everyone,
Hope you all are having a great weekend. Sorry for being away from my blog for such a long time!
To be honest, my studies and other commitments didn't leave me much time to write my blog posts in the past few months. But, I realized I have a whole lot of news and updates to share with you, and what can be a better way to return to posting with the share of a happy news!! So , finally I'm feeling positive enough to start posting again.
I was so honoured to be asked to contribute a project to the "Around the World with 80 Artists eBook" . This amazing initiative by Mahe Zehra Husain is an arts and crafts book filled with lots of crafty goodness. 80 artists from around the world have come together to be apart of this creativity book. The different projects in the book range from beginner level to intermediate to the advanced and every crafter or artist will find a suitable project. The book will be published on Amazon as an e-book but you will also be able to download a pdf copy with a book layout so that you can print it out on your home printer! The book will include versatile projects such as coloring pages, mixed media, scrapbooking, card making, cut and create and much much more!
My contribution to the book is a mixed media altered project full of layers and texture. A project that will get your fingers dirty and fill your heart with joy and expressions! You will be provided the list of the materials and the techniques involved in the ebook to create the amazing result. I am sharing the sneak peek of the project here, but no spoilers...if you want to see it you'll have to get the eBook!
These days we hear so many horrible things on the news and sometimes it seems there is nothing but evil in the world. But that's not true! There is creativity, cooperation and love. All these 80 artists came together to work on one book with one message: creativity is a universal language and art can unite us in love and smile. This eBook has no borders, has no politics it only celebrates creativity!20% of the proceeds from this project will go to The Malala Fund for the beautiful cause of educating Girls.
The eBook will launch on April 15th 2016 to celebrate World Creativity Week.
